02: OIL AND GAS
We provide a range of services across the Oil and Gas service industry with particular focus on oily waste management and treatment. We are vastly proficient in the treatment of petroleum contaminated sludge in vessels/tanks and Drill Cuttings from oil exploration. Fiton’s proprietary solution allows for on-site treatment of the contaminated material and eliminates the need to transport oily waste over great distances, with the attendant risk of spillage. The speed of remediation and restoration using our Micro-Fiton product, significantly reduces the cost of remediation and results in a nutrient enriched soil by-product, which can be used as fertilizer/manure for land restoration.
03: MINING
Fiton is committed to delivering innovative services to clients in the mining industry, focusing on remediating acid mine drainage by directing runoff into pit ponds, where biomass growth is enhanced to create a wetland ecosystem. This wetland ecosystem is capable of cleaning the acid mine drainage before it discharges into nearby surface waters. Our expertise in managing projects in remote and sensitive locations ensures consistent, high-quality results.
04: AGRICULTURE
Fiton technology is versatile in both land and swamp environments because of its ability to bioremediate in hypoxic and anaerobic as well as aerobic conditions. The Fiton process is safe, completely non-pathogenic, non-toxic and unobtrusive to the environment. The sole by-products of the Fiton process in the remediation of soil and groundwater contamination are nutrient enriched soil, CO2 and H2O, which can be used for farmland, land restoration and revegetation.
05: INDUSTRIAL WASTE
We collaborate effectively with clients who treat industrial wastes, accelerating the process of biodegradation by others of magnitude in digesters, oil spills and numerous other hazardous chemicals such as chlorinated compounds in rivers, lakes, oceans, surface, and groundwater. In the treatment of drill cuttings and petroleum contaminated sludge, the Fiton biocatalysis process remediates the cuttings and sludge to generate nutrients solids/soil/sediments/manure thereby eliminating the need for incineration and disposal of inert ash which reduces the pressure on landfills.
